Spades Audio opens its public beta
On the day WWDC began, Sasi opened the public beta of the Mac app he’d spent the better part of a year on.
Sasi chose his moment. On the morning the Mac world was tuned into WWDC, he opened Spades Audio to everyone.
Today, while the world tunes into WWDC, I’m opening the public beta of something I’ve spent the better part of a year on. Meet SpadesAudio.com — the macOS app that finally gives you real control over your sound.
It does three things macOS has never quite let you do from one place. It sets a volume for each app, sends each app’s sound to whichever output you choose, and shapes it all with a 10-band EQ, right from the menu bar. It’s a one-time purchase, with a free 14-day trial.
It’s also the kind of thing we want HMC to make: a small, focused tool for something you do every day, that leaves your Mac a little happier than it found it.
Try the beta at spadesaudio.com, and tell us what you hear at hello@happymachines.company.
